What should I pack?

There is very little formality on Alderney and for most of your stay. Jeans and jumpers and shorts and t-shirts are just perfect for day wear. Smart casual dress is acceptable in all restaurants in the evening.

The island has a micro-climate all of its own, so we do suggest packing a light waterproof jacket in summer. Don’t forget your sunscreen! It’s very rare in winter for the temperature to become frosty but it can be very windy, so a hat and scarf are always handy.
